e-magazine love.

I am a big fan of magazines and the fact that there are e-magazines now makes it even better!

it's more accessible, convenient, free, and still very inspirational and high quality. i discovered Ache today and it was a feast for my eyes! I also discovered Grea Magazine and Rojo & Garabato Magazine, which you can find on Issuu. :)

I wish to have my works published on a magazine someday. :) Speaking of which, I've yet to finish my portfolio for my application as a photographer to Stache Magazine. I really, really, really want to be part of this dream team and do shoots and meet artists, oh loooooord. Who knows? I might end up interning for Status one of these days! :D Also, our ENGLCOM teacher is encouraging us to submit our works in Paper Monster, this magazine she works for, apparently. If our works get published, we earn extra credit! It's like hitting two birds with one stone! I also joined an org today, TeamComm which is the perfect org for me. Not only will it help me improve in my craft, it will expose me to different mediums in communicating. I love how there's so much opportunities in my life right now!

street show!

this definitely deserves its' own post. so remember when me and the girls went to EK? well, while they were too busy screaming their lungs out in space shuttle (i didn't join them only because the last time i rode it, i got sick, k!) i was enjoying the street show in brooklyn street! I don't remember the last time I watched their street show but i can tell you that it sure has been years! it put a smile on my face. :) i loved it! makes me want to watch broadway shows/plays again! agghh the last time i watched one was when CATS came here.

I cannot wait for the upcoming plays and broadway shows! I have surely missed watching them. :)

Double Debut

so last saturday, DAMZL celebrated Denise and Loise's 18th birthday! We actually had this really epic plan that was going to take place in Rizal, but plans were canceled last minute, sadly. :( It would've been really nice there, and I was looking forward to have one last summer hurrah (even if school already started 2 weeks ago) but nonetheless, things turned out okay in EK. Nichie has not gone to the place since she was 10 so you can say that she had a good time. As for me, it's been my 3rd consecutive week in EK. @-) I probably won't go there for the next few years. =)) Also, did I mention that the weather was great? It would've been perfect for a road trip! Aaahhh.

The two lovers meet. =)) Apparently, some Antioch people were there, too! :O

After EK, we headed to Mia's house to surprise Denise. HEHEHE. I will just say that it was very intense and tears were involved. =))) Such a success, though! It was also spontaneous that we snuck out to party at Fiama after since it was already Loise's 18th by that time. Thank you Vick. =)))) I CONQUERED MY ONE TEQUILA FLOOR EXPERIENCE. =))) I'm proud to say that I wasn't at the slightest bit hit. Some were though. :> OHOHO. Heh, it was fun going crazy (although we did attract alot of attention).

Also, Kevin is back from Europe! He got me these really cool and old post cards from Venice and they are legit, yo. Hay, that guy is lucky being able to travel around the world. :'(

Now I am tired and I have a quiz to study for, ugh. DNW school tomorrow. :\
